The PokePet Gene

There is a special gene in some people's DNA that is a defect and can cause major problems in their life. Some people use it to their advantage and some consider it a burden. The gene causes them to become a pokemon when treated like a pet. When they are petted or called "Good boy/girl" the gene activates and will begin to make them love the petting but they could easily stop it if they tried but the transformation will also begin at the same time and that can only be removed by time. They will also begin to develop the comfort weaknesses of that pokemon like belly rubs, ear scritching, etc. Someone can share this curse by simply sharing their blood with someone else. Some use this gene for evil purposes and turn people into their slaves. Once they have been transformed it can be made permanent by hitting pleasure pressure points which can cause they DNA to lock in that current state be it pokemon or human. Once made permanent it can be reversed for a short time so they can live among humans till it reverts them but they retain something from their pokemon form. Say if someone becomes a Sky Shaymin through this process. Their hair style would change to that of the antler formation that Sky Shaymin has and they would wear a scarf the same way Sky Shaymin has the watermelon like scarf and they can only wear the colors Shaymin is colored which is white.

At the time it is made permanent they can be conditioned to be a pet, slave, best friend, or guard pokemon. This is the second part of the gene called the Pokemon Order Syndrome Through Lethargy or POSTL (say it like postal) for short. All that has to be done is say "Wanna be a good boy for Master/Mistress?" the person will then immediately go into a trance and stare into your eyes awaiting reprogramming. You can then program them with a new mindset. Mindset being Personality, Thoughts, love and hate, friends and foes, or special things they do like a cute head tilt. Some people use this to acquire things that they cannot like rare jewels or friendship. Someone with the PPG or PokePet Gene are susceptible to this by default but their pokemon form is the same but if they pass on the gene to someone using blood transfusion the other persons pokemon form will not be the donors form. Everyone has a different pokemon form within them for the PP gene to bring out. I feel sorry for everyone who must carry this gene and pray that they don't fall into evil hands.

I also had noticed that my lil bro and I could not be around certain types of pokemon food. If so we would begin to transform from the smell activating the gene as well. That was a problem for a while but even though we hate transforming we went out in search for the certain pokemon food that transformed us. We ended up finding which ones so we could avoid them. There were many different brand and flavors that effected us.

The good part is that you can still talk like a human being but if someone rubs your throat in a certain way or enough you can lose that and that can be a problem. A good enough shock like using a new attack or a zap can restore your speech. You can also reverse it if you know how to cause it just reverse the way your throat was rubbed. Sometime only speaking in Poketoung is better than human.

I only know of two people thus far who carry this gene... Myself and my brother... My name is Arrik and I'm working on the cure to this only for those who want it. But I warn you... If you are caught in pokemon form and are hit... You remain in that form...

Also if you are more pokemon than human and are not done tfing... It will change you into your pokemon form and vise versa. I caution all who try to recreate this gene. The effects may not be to your liking for this is a naturally occurring gene and trying to create and artificial form of something naturally occurring never ends well for anyone. The only way to create it artificially is...
